P.E.P. Trainings

Marti Baio will use her P.E.P. program to help train families and their children.  Marti will provide 2 hour trainings for the family and caregivers to help point out suggestions that can be followed through outside the therapy setting in the areas of play, engagement, and pragmatics (social skills).  These trainings will be videotaped and sent home with the families to study further.  Marti will provide the family with a program to follow to enhance the areas of communication and interaction with adults and peers.

Support

"Connection" Parent Support Group

A new group will be starting at Baio Enterprises, Inc. called Connection.  This will be a parent support group based on Christian biblical truths.  We will spend 1 hour, 1 time a month to Share, Care, and hold each other up in prayer.  Why do we need this group?  We have support around the Phoenix area to help us find our way through the maze of therapies, diets, education, doctors, etc., however we need a place as parents, to go and be understood, understand others, and be lifted up in prayer.  We need a place where we can talk about how to live life on a daily basis emotionally and spiritually, as well as a place to get refreshed and renewed.  We will NOT spend time talking about our concerns of IEP's, crabby therapists, and difficult doctors, we WILL spend our time sharing and caring for each other on the emotional and spiritual roller coaster we experience when we are raising children with special needs.  Please consider joining us as we come together to Connect the pieces of this puzzle in yet, one more important area of our lives; this may be one of the most significant pieces of the puzzle!
