Like Speech and Occupational Therapies, Physical Therapy helps people with disabilities achieve independence.  Physical therapy is a type of treatment for large body systems, such as muscles, joints, and limbs.  A Physical Therapist helps people improve mobility and to move their bodies in a way that is healthy and safe.  Potential treatments could include:
