Marti Baio MA CCC-SLP
Marti Baio, the founder, began her dream of helping others in 1994 when she created Baio Enterprises. The bridge between the two worlds of Development Delays and Social Services is unique to Baio Enterprises. Marti has life experiences that influenced the development of her clinic. She began as a Speech-Language Pathologist because of her interest in a family member’s experience with stuttering. Her path then changed course to working with children and adults with severe developmental delays. Marti later adopted her daughter from the AZ State Foster Care System. This adoption inspired Marti to bring the worlds of Developmental Delays and Social Services together to provide a need she saw in the community.
Joanie Faherty is the Office Manager at Baio Enterprises. She has a Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Arizona State University. She joined Baio in 2007 as the Office Manager. She works on all aspects of the management of the office and works closely with the Arizona Department of Developmental Disabilities regarding billing issues. In her spare time, Joanie likes to spend time with her new grand babies!

I am proud to be working for Baio Enterprises for the past 6 years. I strive to give Baio therapists and members/clients the best and most efficient scheduling experience possible. I am very grateful to be working at such a compassionate and professional agency.
OT Referral Coodinator
One of my goals is to ensure we are assisting as many clients as possible in the most convenient way. My most relevant achievement, aside from my work experience, is that I am a special needs mom. This allows me to look at our services not only from an agency perspective but also from a parent's perspective. My true passions in life are being helpful to others and finding ways to solve problems or be more efficient.

As a new SLP-CFY, my goal is to be the best therapist I can be. I want all of my clients to learn functional skills that they can use in their everyday lives to become as independent as possible. I want to always remain kind and patient. My biggest achievement thus far, is teaching a nonverbal child to use an AAC device to communicate :). One thing people don't know about me is that I have a birthmark on my head, and I've had grey hair since I was 3!!
My name is Ashley Sando and I am an SLPA. I have worked at Baio since 2014 and I have had the opportunity to work with clients of all ages. I particularly enjoy using Floortime techniques and working with AAC users. Helping clients find their voice is my passion and I love watching them gain confidence and independence as they learn to express themselves. At Baio, I have had the unique opportunity to participate in Animal Assisted Therapy as well as work side by side with Occupational Therapists to expand my therapy toolbox and provide the best therapy possible. Currently, I am researching and learning ways to improve my therapy techniques from the disabled and Autistic communities. Using their voices, I hope to become the support system my clients need and deserve.
