Director/Owner

Marti Baio MA CCC-SLP

Marti Baio, the founder, began her dream of helping others in 1994 when she created Baio Enterprises.  The bridge between the two worlds of Development Delays and Social Services is unique to Baio Enterprises.  Marti has life experiences that influenced the development of her clinic.  She began as a Speech-Language Pathologist because of her interest in a family member’s experience with stuttering.  Her path then changed course to working with children and adults with severe developmental delays.  Marti later adopted her daughter from the AZ State Foster Care System.  This adoption inspired Marti to bring the worlds of Developmental Delays and Social Services together to provide a need she saw in the community.

Vanessa Jehling MS CC-SLP

As an Arizona native, I completed my undergraduate degree at ASU and graduate degree at NAU.  I am passionate about working as a supervising speech-language pathologist (SLP).  I love serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their entire families.  Growing up with a sibling who has a disability, I am certified as a Sibshops facilitator so I may help connect young neurotypical siblings (of neurodiverse brothers and sisters) together.  In addition to Sibshops, I am the state chapter representative for the Sibling Leadership Network's Arizona branch, Siblink, which focuses on assisting adult siblings.  My experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) has been an asset in my desire to advocate for finding everyone's voice.  In my free time, I enjoy serving in faith-based leadership positions, spending quality time with family and friends, being outdoors, golfing, and teaching my puppy how to "talk" using FluentPet word board.
